Deleting your Luci data

This English version is the authoritative version of this document. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only.

This page explains how to delete your data from Luci — Mood Tracker, developed by Robin Chung.

Delete from inside the app

  1. Open Luci and go to Settings → Privacy.
  2. Tap Delete my Data to erase your entries, or Delete account to erase your entries and close your synced account entirely.
  3. Confirm when prompted.

No request or approval from us is needed. The deletion happens straight away.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app — for example because you have lost or replaced your device — email us at [email protected] from the email address associated with your Luci account, with the subject line Delete my data.

We will confirm that the request came from the account holder and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Every mood entry, journal note, tag, and reminder stored on your device.
  • Your account and every entry synced to our servers.
  • Your email address and account settings.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Backups. Deleted account data stays recoverable from rolling backups for 7 days, so that an accidental deletion can be reversed. After 7 days those backups have rolled over and the data is gone permanently.
  • Purchase records. Records of subscription payments are held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They contain no mood or journal content.
  • Anonymous analytics. Usage statistics that were never linked to your identity are retained for up to 12 months and cannot be traced back to you.
